One of the things I love is my crock pot. I use it all the time making quick easy meals. One of our favorites are stuffed green peppers. What I’ve also done many times is made them ahead of time, vacuum seal then freeze. I’ve done this to take on our fishing trips and for my husband on his hunting trips. Stuffed Green Peppers for the crock pot: Ingredients: 1 1/2 – 2 lbs of Ground Round (Or venison, beef, chuck, etc.) 1/2 Med size Onion 4 Green Peppers 3/4 cup of Bread Cru

The next couple of weeks our posts are going to be short and sweet as we have so much going on at work - it is actually very insane! We do still have to eat and have some very tasty and easy meals planned. Our first one includes “the other white meat”, Pork. Even though we love pork tenderloin, we never seem to make it that often. We really should as it is the leanest and healthiest of the pork cuts. As well it has less fat than chicken and twice the amount of iron. Not only is it good for
Heads up - it's Spring Break Week here in the Kesti household, so things are definitely not on schedule. But, we have some fun things planned for this week, so it's all good. Slept in today (felt good) except now I'm nursing a headache. Is it because I slept in? Because we spent all day yesterday out in the sun, not to mention did a four mile hike? Hmmm...not sure. In any case - I need some help this week for dinner plans. What's your go to menu when nothing else sounds good? I'd love to
