5 Stars best cooking video
This is one of the best videos ever! Clearly explains the hows of cooking and great recipes!

5 Stars Basic Cooking Ideas
I thought this DVD was a great introduction to cooking and to healthy cooking. Andrea, the woman doing the demos was cheerful and enthusiastic and showed basic kitchen tools she thinks are helpful, and also talked about different kinds of healthy foods and how to prepare them healthfully - from vegies to meats and vegetarian options, etc. A LOT of good ideas, and a lot of information for anyone interested in learning about healthy grains and vegies they aren’t familiar with.

4 Stars Brewing reference
John Palmer’s How to Brew is a must for any aspiring home brewer. If you plan to buy just one book, this should be it.

5 Stars A must have brewing book.
Not much that I can say that has not been said about this book. I brewed many years ago(mid 90’s) and used “The Joy of Homebrewing” extensively. It was and still is a good book, but this book is much more updated. So, if you are thinking of getting into brewing or already have brewed and want to get updated, then do yourself a favor and buy this book!

5 Stars Great all-encompasing book for homebrewing
Just before I started brewing a few months ago I read John Palmer’s “How to Brew” website, which is an older version of the book online and is free. It was very helpful in getting me started in this great hobby. I’ve brewed a few batches and decided to buy the updated book. I’m glad I did. The book has a ton of great information, several recipes and goes a little bit into how to brew your own styles. It has great info on hops, yeast, bottling, kegging and just about everything else. If you are already brewing and you don’t have this, you should get it. If you are thinking about getting started, I would recommend checking out his website first and then buy the book after you brew your first batch.

5 Stars for ever brewing skill level

Not only is it an up to date knowledgeable book covering all aspects of the brewing process, but it is thoughtfully organized.

So you don’t know beans about making beer but want to do some? Well the very first chapter takes care of that right off. From that point on, the only question is how sophisticated and involved do you want to get.

This is also one knockout resource book on the subject of brewing.

Very likely the best home brewing book out there, and I’ve got them all…… well, at least a half dozen.

….and yes, I do read the other books as well!

5 Stars This book will get you started right or polish the experienced brewer
Lots of detail but well written and a easy read. Read this book and you’ll be making a good brew the first time.

4 Stars Classic comedy
This is a great movie. When it arrived, it was brand new in perfect condition. Watching this movie brought back many memories from the 80’s when my cousin and I would watch it all the time (this movie was also alot easier to find in the 80s). The comedy was corny at times but always funny. They even worked some 80’s TV commercials into their humor. A teenager today (or Brett) might not get all of the jokes, but would still have a great time watching this movie.

1 Star THEY CAN CALL HIM WHATEVER!
Not much to say except that it sucked and I am glad that I did not watch the whole thing. Don’t waste your money on this unless you don’t care about how stupid it is.

See ya.

4 Stars Quite a laugh after all these years…
My brother used to own a copy of this on VHS, and recently picked up the DVD version. It’s basically 85 minutes straight of political incorrectness and “so bad it’s funny” type jokes.

I must admit to a little bit of nostalgia keeping this film interesting/funny (that’s why I gave it 4 stars) but overall it’s pretty hilarious. Maybe I don’t have a very evolved sense of humor, dunno. I did find myself laughing repeatedly through the course of the film, which is all that matters as far as the “screwball B movie comedy” genre goes. A double-feature night along with “Love at First Bite” would make for some decent entertainment.

2 Stars They Call This A Classic?
I guess to some this over the top slapstick comedy from the early 80’s is the funniest thing they have ever seen. But by todays standards it’s pretty lame/tame.

Bruce is a chef or something from China whose grandfather left him some words of wisdom on his death bed, and Bruce has come to America to fullful his grandfathers wishes. Bruce’s idol is Bruce Lee and he wants to be Bruce Lee… only he a clutz and no good at anything realy. He accidently bubles a crime in a quickie store and becomes a hero for 15 minutes and his boss sends him accross the country delivering what he thinks is flour to people while at the same time being hunted down by people and the FBI.

It sounds better then it is. It’s very dated in parts. I wouldnt say I hated it, I think i just got my hopes up way too high thinking it was going to be exactly what the reviews said it would be that are printed on the cover… however, even a movie as bad as The Slaughterhouse Massacre had a raving review printed on it, so I should learn to ignore those things for good.

The humour is very lame in parts, some of it comes out funny. I got a laugh now and then out of it and there are even a few classic lines in it. But overall, only check it out if it’s under $5, thats about all it’s worth.. i feel ripped off for having payed more then double that.

1 Star Terrible DVD transfer
Wow the picture quality is just awful, sound is muffled. The DVD looks way worse than the old VHS version. I would buy VHS if you like this movie. The movie is pretty funny even though the gags are really dated. There is a scene where Marsha Warfield (from Night Court) is in jail and she rubs cocaine on her teeth.
